About The Ford Active Park Assist Feature

Downtown Grand Rapids is a busy place these days and finding a parking spot can be a challenge. In some cases, you're going to have no choice but to parallel park your vehicle. Since executing this maneuver is not universally accepted as "easy," Ford's Active Park Assist feature seeks to make it quick and simple for drivers. You can even have a little fun wowing your passengers like the guy in the video too.

When you switch the system on, sensors in your Ford will check the right side of the car for a suitable space and alert you if it finds one. When prompted, simply shift into reverse and take your hands off the wheel - your car will handle that part, all you have to do is control the speed. Once it's done, it'll let you know to shift into park. Easy peasy.
