Navigate New Horizons
Don't wait for turn-by-turn directions from a multitasking passenger switching between maps and mobile games. In a Bronco Sport, the available voice-activated navigation is front and center on an 8-inch touchscreen. From home to trailhead to the promised land at the end of your route, Bronco Sport is equipped to help you find the next best spot.
Breadcrumb Navigation
When you are out on the trail the available GPS navigation gets you where you're going and back again. Dropping virtual breadcrumbs along the way, the GPS navigation remembers your route just in case you need some assistance getting back to where you started.
180-Degree Camera
At slow speeds, the available 180-Degree Camera with Split View gives you a closer look at what lies ahead, projecting an image of the trail onto your center screen. It can bring clarity to the trail and give you a better view of the obstacles that you may be approaching. There 's also a built-in washer to clear off any debris.
Enhance Your Exploration
Technologies like SYNC 3, an available wireless charging pad and a B&O Sound System by Bang & Olufsen help get the momentum going when you hit the road.
See It From Every Angle
The available 180-Degree Camera gives you a whole view of your surroundings.
Adaptive Cruise Control With Stop-and-Go and Lane Centering
Available on select Ford vehicles is a version of Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) that employs advanced radar and camera technology. ACC lets you set a cruising speed and distance from the vehicle ahead of you. When it slows down, you automatically do too: when traffic picks back up, you resume your preset speed and distances. Then comes ACC with Stop-and-go, which enables you to come to a complete stop when the vehicle ahead stops. If your stop is longer than three seconds, the driver must intervene and press the "RES" button on the accelerator pedal to resume system operation. Now add Lane Centering, which scans the lane markings to help you stay in your lane if the system detects you drifting out of it. When equipped on the Big Bend, Outer Banks, and Badlands models intelligent ACC also includes Speed Sign Recognition.
Evasive Steering Assist
It happens.
You come upon a slow or stopped vehicle in your path. And you need to
take evasive action. That's when available Evasive Steering Assist comes
into play, employing the camera and radar sensor technology of the
available Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking to
detect the vehicle ahead and apply active braking. If the distance to the vehicle ahead of you isn't too short and a
collision can't be avoided by braking alone, Evasive Steering Assist can
help you maneuver around the vehicle by providing additional steering
support when the effort you're applying is not sufficient.
